Antonia Mavros is an Australian–Greek sculptor and jewellery artist whose practice blurs the line between sculpture and adornment. She conceives and directs every piece, creating jewellery that balances form, movement, and the intimate relationship between the human body and precious materials.
Working primarily with carved gemstones and precious metals, Antonia collaborates with master artisans in Australia and the UK to translate her sculptural vision into striking high jewellery. Her recent work includes one-of-a-kind, stone-led pieces, reflecting her mastery of both sculptural and technical techniques.
Antonia draws on a multidisciplinary background spanning classical sculpture, fashion design, drawing, and painting. She studied at the Julian Ashton Art School in Sydney and at Van Cleef & Arpels L’École School of Jewellery Arts in Paris, gaining expertise in stone setting, wax modelling, high jewellery painting techniques, and French jewellery history. Additional year of gemmology training with Gemmological Association of Australia informs her sculptural approach to jewellery.
Her ongoing practice encompasses both sculptural work and fine jewellery. Collections range from limited online editions to exclusive one-of-a-kind high jewellery pieces. Each creation reflects her commitment to form, material integrity, and timeless design, offering collectors and connoisseurs a rare combination of artistry, technical mastery, and sculptural innovation.
